The Formosa Heel was inspired by my childhood, tropical summers in Taiwan. "Formosa" which translates to "beautiful island", was what the Portuguese named Taiwan when they arrived. These shoes were designed and created as a representation of elegance and simplicity - everything the perfect island has to offer. The two color ways, Guava and Persimmon, are named after my favorite delicious fruits native to the island,
